Outboards on a Yamaha boat

Hmmm twin E-tec G2's and we're talking!

Outboards for boats that remain in the water are very low on maintenance compared to the alternative, and lower unit oil change is not the end of the world.

With quiet 4 cycle motors the jet advantage is the space and lack of killer fin, I mean outdrive. But disadvantage of effect of weeds and twigs.

It is pretty sad to see the swim platform disabled, but if it allows them to enjoy the boat so be it. I know in harsh salt water environment with many hours of recorded use, the outboards are King. They are more expensive, but such is life.

How about outboards in conjunction with the jets!

I was thinking he same thing. Who says they ditched the jets? Hole shot is awesome, top speed necessitates one of those skull face masks the bass guys wear; but...it will only carry two people and now has a 20 mile range. Ha.
