Overheating on both engines due to seagrass

I have the same issue ... How do I reset the STBD check engine warning ?

Not sure the service guy never called me back. When I do I will let you know.
 
Had this problem last weekend in Panama City Beach. Port side overheated, shut her down and ran on starboard. I got out of the marina, anchored and shut them both down and cleared out the massive amount of sea grass. (convinced the 10 y/o it was a race... he won)

On startup the alarms persisted. I shut down again and turned off all batteries and opened the hatch for about 15 min. Upon restart all was well. Was at 47hrs.. so just did my 50hr service just in case the heat denatured the oil viscosity in any way.

I tried it ..... Waited liken an hour with the batteries off ... Hatch opened. But still same "STBD Check Engine" warning on dash ..... Engines running fine. No overheating or rev limiter. Someone help please ..... 2015 AR240
 
@Binymac - you may want to try to fully disconnect the batteries to allow any computer faults to fully clear the system.
