I do a lot of mountain biking and was looking for a plug that would be flush, fairly water tight as well as easy to remove when needed. I happen to try a bar end plug that came off one of my bikes and it was the perfect fit! Nice and snug water tight and sits flush. They make several different kinds and you want one that has a shoulder to it so you have something to grab onto to remove. I beleive any of the ones that were designed for mountain bikes would tend to be a little more heavy duty. The extra ones I had laying around even had a O ring.

Is this plug a solution for the anchor locker drain hole? If so, can you post a part number, manufacturer name, link where we could buy it?

That stupid anchor locker drain hole is maddening!

No this is not intended for the anchor locker. The FSH boats have a pedestal bow seat option. There is a mounting plate with a hole about 1/2 diameter between the two front storage compartments. If you don't plug the hole water can leak down through the hole and makes its way to the changing room floor. I was able to go to the local marine store and purchase the exact drain fitting Yamaha used. I cut it longer so it was flush with the inside of the anchor locker. From there I simply put silicone inside the hole, around the new fitting and sealed it up around the hole inside the anchor locker. Problem solved. Wish I could give you a part number but the place I went to simply had a bin that had a bunch of misc fittings and they had a few of these sitting in there.

Yep that's where I got the picture as an aid to see what it looked like
