I'm getting ready to install 2 amps in my boat. My question is on wiring from the battery. Do I run the positive and negative to my perko battery switcher? Positive to switch and negative directly to nearest battery? Positive to switch and negative to battery I plan to use when listening? Thanks.

Are the negatives tied together on your batteries?

Positive needs to go to the switch. Negative to either battery is fine if the negatives are tied but to the battery you plan to use if they are not.

I installed the second battery and switch Lat year. I believe the negatives are connected. I will check before I install. Thank.

Need an inline fuse as well...
