Has anyone installed the Lectrotab 10"x14" kit on a pre-2012 21ft? If so, how did you fasten the top of the actuator to the hull? I can only find examples on the forum of installs on the later 2012+ models without the stepped hull or 23ft with stepped hull.
For our 2006 SX210, the top actuator mount ends up being not close to the tie-down u-bolts, so I won't be a able to drill into the backing plywood glassed in hull for those u-bolts. Looks like it is just composite sandwich where it will mount. Am thinking of just using an aluminum backing plate and through bolting instead of using screws. Just curious to find out what others have done before the drilling begins...
