Hi

Did I miss "how to put up your Bimini?" That was a Duh?? moment (hour) for me trying to figure out how to install and then put up mine. One more post and "it" will be gone!
Not having that model....do you think we should add that to the FAQ? Can you post the link here if you think so, and I'll happily add it!

Added a bunch of fun topics to the Forum ops section.
Still need someone to write up a Perfect Pass Install thread with pics and video ideally!
Could use a post with the Plugs and filter info for the 240 and 210 series boats!
Here are some pictures from a perfect pass install. They aren't mine but I found them useful when doing my install. I took some pictures of mine while doing the install but they don't look any different than these except for maybe one or two.

I can scan my perfect pass manual and upload it if you think that is appropriate. It covers all MR1 engine installs. Between the pictures and the manual I think it is straight forward. In addition to that there is tuning of the cables that needs to be done to get the RPMs even and prevent oscillating over and under the set speed.

Suggestion... how about a thread, or dedicated section for aftermarket or OEM (not Yamaha) part numbers for boat components?
For example, here's the OEM 24" stowable table post for $21 that I bought last year... WAY less than what Yamaha wants for it.
Manufacturer: Springfield Marine
SKU: 3660028-A
http://www.cascadedepot.com/servlet/the-782/Stowable-24"-Table-Post/Detail

Table mount, Springfield Marine, SKU 3660018

Other stuff (like the stainless scuppers, etc., so you don't have to go through the threads just to find a part number) would be helpful as well.

I like this idea.....have family in town right now...but I'll work on it next week....

In the meantime....post up parts....I was thinking of a separate parts post...could have a Yamaha section AND aftermarket.....

This should be callled "greatest thread ever"
