Goodmorning,

I'm looking for some guidance on upgrading my OEM JVC receiver and speakers on my 05 sx230. I would like to replace all 4 speakers, receivers and remotes so they are all compatible. Has anyone done this? if so what brand and models did you use and how hard was it? Thank you

I have rockford fosgate speakers in my. 07band have been very happy with them. I did buy an amp and sub for it, but have not yet installed them, and it sounds really good even still.

I recommend a fusion/garmin based system. I’m very happy with mine, lots of features/functionality that works as it should.

Easy in and out wit no amps, just don't buy any Polk product.

Here is a basic fusion system with kicker speakers. That is head unit, one remote, aux/sub extension, antennae and four speakers. Add about $300 for two more speakers For the swim deck and a small amp to power them aaa well as another remote.
