Guest, we are pleased to announce that Hydrophase Ridesteady is offering an extra $100 off for JETBOATERS.NET members on any Ridesteady for Yamaha Speed Control system purchased through March 7th, 2025. Ridesteady is a speed control system (“cruise control”) that uses GPS satellites or engine RPM to keep your boat at the set speed you choose. On twin engine boats, it will also automatically synchronize your engines.
Always on the look out for something that will protect the gel coat, be easy to clean, is durable, and prevent water spotting. Anybody ever use this product?
I have not used, but I have used Griot's 3 in 1 Ceramic Wax. Much to my surprise, it is darn near amazing. It is wipe on wipe off, and it has lasted more than 6 months on my boat (salt water only).
I put it on as a topper to my existing wax (Griot's One Step - polish and synthetic wax) as a test, and it has done extremely well. Watch the video at Griot's Garage; it does what they say it does. One especially good feature is that it can be used on virtually any surface, including rubber, without any white residue.
I usually polish/wax my boat about this time of year, but I am trying to decide if I should wait.
I'd be interested as well. I'm sure this is no worse, and much cheaper, than the $1,500 "Vantage Protection System" coating that my dealer suckered me into buying.
