Hey fellow boaters, I have a question about my window frames 2022 212XE showing black spotting all the sudden. It is all over equally spread. No chemical has ever been used other than safe window cleaner. I took it to a a Yamaha dealer and they sad its not a manufacture defect and will not help with warranty since it is only 2 years old. I have researched and found that this might be anodized aluminum discoloring and is a material defect. Thoughts and insights?

Almost looks like water spotting, or something was sprayed in the vicinity and that's from the overspray.

What have you used to test for a possible removal? Have you tested it to see if it would simply wipe clean?

Mine has the same. 2022 model. I guess I'll try barkeepers friend.

Do you know which Barkeepers Friend product they used? I had no idea they made so many varieties.
