Looking at a brand new ar210 white for $47,500 plus my Tax

Seems like the way to go as used ones are the close to the same price.

thoughts?

comes with the shipping cover do I need to buy another cover?

thanks

We just put our deposit down for an ar210, there may be shipping and prep fees as well on top of taxes. We got the snap in covers as well because we are planning to keep it in a slip for the summer.

@Svannorman as mentioned, verify that there are no additional fees, shipping/prep. If it is MSRP + tax and they are eating the shipping and prep, it is not too bad a price for now.

Having lived with only the shipping cover for a few months now while I wait on the regular mooring cover to come in, I'd recommend getting the mooring cover if you can. The shipping cover is a bit heavy and cumbersome to deal with for regular use so I'm very much looking forward to getting the mooring cover (they're currently on backorder for the new 25' models).

MSRP is $46K. Are they trying to charge you above MSRP or does your $47,500 number include the freight and prep as well? As others have mentioned, you'll need to verify if their number includes freight and prep. If it's $47,500 plus freight and prep (which can easily add another $2K), that doesn't seem like a deal to me.

Thanks all, to answer the price question ... it is MSRP $45,999 plus Freight $1,500. other places charge $3K for Freight and set up.

For these times you are right in the zone give or take.

Our shipping and freight was right under 2K, taxes in Ohio are 7.5% so that was a good chunk extra as well but you are right around the same amount.

I agree with the others. There just isn't a ton of room to negotiate below MSRP during COVID so your offer is pretty standard and the freight/prep isn't too bad.

The shipping cover is a pain in the ass. If its like mine the tower need to be down and the cover goes over it. Its great for winter storage but if you use it for everyday it sucks. Its big and heavy, my wife really struggled with it. Get the mooring cover.

I concur, get the premium mooring cover for your boat. It fits like a glove, it's rain resistant, is good for trailering with it on, and has vents to let the cover breathe. When you go back in to sign the paperwork see if you can get them to throw in the mooring cover for free. If not, ask for other freebies like a safe boating starter kit with anchor, dock lines, PFD's, etc. If you don't need that kit, ask for a tube and tow rope, etc. Dealers can't offer much off the boat price, but they can wiggle with the accessories.

Thanks, I hope I can get a few things thrown in!

Where did you get the boat from? Congrats!

Update ... we went to look at the boat and my wife wants the two captains chairs so we put a deposit on a 212s and did not purchase the ar210. the captain chairs is a very costly investment. I know there are other upgrades as well which will be nice! Hope to get a boat before the season starts

You and your wife will be very happy with the 212S. What color did you order?

Thats the one I would have picked, good choice ?

It’s about $1500 to add a second captains chair to the ar210.

It's much more (money also) than the dual captains chairs. You will be impressed with the performance, especially when loaded with people.
