I have a 2020 AR210. When I pulled up the carpet in the cockpit. There is a hatch between the transom and goes all the way up to the ski locker. It has screw bolts in it. What is under there? Is it something I should go into to check on at all or from time to time?

I believe the gas tank is in there. I was curious and looked.

Ah, that makes sense. Is it a place where water and debris can get into and should be cleaned out or inspected from time to time?

I don't believe so. LOL, never kept a boat long enough to find out.

I'm guessing water gets in there from various sources. The plug in the front of the engine hatch is supposed to be the fuel compartment drain. So if you leave that plug closed then rain water or water from swimmers would just stay in that compartment.

probably yes and no, there are boats that are 10+ years and never had the fuel hatch open, others pull the panel the help run cables,

if the fasteners are easy (the older boats had difficult fasteners) I'd say pull it just to get a look at what's there,
