Hey guys do many of you have experience with drydocking your boats? Gotta EZDock drydock for the boat, same as I’ve used for the PWC. I’m having troubles with how the boat sits.

Originally after install the boat sat evenly on the plastic slider but it was too high and very difficult without a winch to get the boat all the way up. Also, boat wasn’t touching the rollers so very difficult to push off. Impossible without 4+ people. Ended up pulling it off with the PWC a few times.

Then, removed the wood under the blue plastic sliders which lowered it 4”. Now as you can see it’s too low and doesn’t sit evenly. Weight is all on the rollers and is forced to lean one way or the other.

Anybody have experience with this? Buying a winch I see is necessary to pull all the way up, but that doesn’t help getting it off

I have no response for you on this but you have piqued my interest in wondering how exactly you do get a jet boat off of the EZ Dock system? I'll be watching closely.

These photos are with short and long bunk (blue plastic runner) and with wood under the long bunk

With the long bunk raised with wood, it sits too high and not on rollers. Very difficult to get off and on. Very difficult to get all the way out the water. Short bunk with no wood it’s much easier to get all the way up out the water but doesn’t sit flat. Only sits on the rollers and still very difficult to push off, maybe even harder.

so when it’s not all the way out the water my wife and I have pushed it off before but it’s tough. When it’s completely out the water as it should be, even with 4 guys it can’t be pushed. Pulled it out with a PWC. Its the only way. So that’s what I’m working on NOT having to do this.

I have no experience with these but try putting a 3/4" board under instead of a 2x. The blue guides are just that, guides. They should just straighten the boat and keep it from tipping while it's sitting on the rollers. I don't believe you should have any weight on them.
A Yamaha 212X uses one on our river and it's always straight and out of the water when I go by so it can be done.

If I'm not mistaken, the winch systems on these are setup so they work both for pulling the heavier boats onto the lift, as well as pulling them back off the lift.

What about spraying those bunks with liquid roller? I haven't used it but apparently it makes bunks SUPER slippery. Maybe the rollers themselves too?

Along the lines of Babbin Farms, you’ll need to add some spacers under the blue glides. It looks like there were two pieces of wood in the “before” picture, try using one of them and the long glides. When correct almost all of the weight should be on the rollers and the glides are just keeping the boat level.

Might try cutting the 2x4 so that the blue piece sits at a 30 deg angle or so. Would probably be a table saw job.

I have a 2010 212x and use one of these, however I have the air lift. From the look of your boat it looks like you need the airlift. I don't need to drive on as far with the air lift. It normally takes two people to push it off. I started using liquid rollers and that really helps and I can push it off myself when freshly coated. As far as getting mine straight it greatly depends on where you have weight placed in the boat. I am on my 3rd season and really struggled the first two seasons until I shifted the location of my anchors. I also make sure I have people sitting on both sides of the boat to keep it as even and level as possible before I drive on. This has essentially solved my level problem. I'm still in search of some sort of winch off system to make it easier.
