I am looking for either a 12v or 120 volt pump to put air in my towable. Greatly appreciate any recommendations. [flag]

@ncnmra
Thank you I went ahead and purchased it as I was unable to find an adapter that would work on my compressor [flag]

I use one of these. Portable no cords. I always bring 2 batteries, never needed the 2nd battery. The adapters mamke it fit all sizes of tube filler holes. And can also be connected to boower intake to remove air from items

@BigAbe75 That is the one i just purchased[flag]
I actually installed mine in the boat and routed a hose to a thruhull fitting on the back. I’ve ended up with about 15’ hose. (6’ in the boat to the fitting and about 7’ from the fitting to the inflatable. That much hose does reduce the volume/flow, but still really pumps it out.

I don’t have my pics ready yet, but have some notes in the doc in my sig. and, of course, several threads here if you search for them.

The Airhead High pressure 12v pump came to day and it worked great. Really inflated the Chariot Two very very fast. Based on how it performed today I would recommend it. [flag]

I use a small Craftsman vacuum on the "blow" side that works great. Its at the dock anyway to clean the boat. Just dump the crumbs and sand and remove the filter sack and your in business.

Hey, I'm thinking about buying one of these since I already have a couple batteries for it. Do you find that it has enough pressure to fully inflate tubes?

Where did you get the adapters from?

I have a Coleman Brand that I picked up at WalMart about 10 years ago. Looks just like this one.

I inflated the disk when it got here by hand. Won't be doing that again. Think I'm going to pickup that Sevylor one linked above. Want something to get me to a decent pressure without having to carry the hand pump around with me.

@jcyamaharider does that pump have any sort of pressure gauge on it? Curious how you keep from over inflating, as it says it will run up to 15psi.

Yep, it is digital and shuts off when it gets to the desired psi that you set it for.

Awesome. Thanks for the info.

Gonna add this one to the list so I don't have to hand pump the new disk every time.

I picked up this pump, it's great. Turn it on and then go do other stuff, shuts off when its ready.

Holy crap guys, low pressure, high volume pumps should not cost more than $20.

https://www.amazon.com/Kwik-Tek-AHP...0861550&sr=8-19&keywords=high+volume+air+pump

These cheapo pumps have been working for us for years and they move a ton of air. When we blow up the island, we have resorted to a leaf blower off the deflation nozzle for the majority of the volume, and then finish off with the $20 pump. But $100 for a pump is crazy unnecessary.

Good luck though.
