I'm going to a dealer in Maine tomorrow to look at the 210 FSH Sport. My wife and I have decided this is the boat for our family, so just trying to figure out what others have paid and what is included. Trailer? Cover? Warranty? Anything else?

The Yamaha website says it starts at 47,499 before fees. What am I looking at for freight and prep fees? There is a boat show in a couple weeks in NH. Would I get a better deal going to the boat show, maybe on the last day?

This is our first boat, so trying to figure it all out. Thanks for all the help!

We just bought a 2020 212s at our local boat show. They threw in the dealer prep and shipping fee and gove us half off the cover... They didn't budge on the price. It seem that most of the Yamaha boats are in high demand. Good luck on your purchase! We can't wait till our delivery in mid April.

Talk to your dealer tell him you’re interested and ask him with the boat show special is going to be I bought mine as a New York boat show they waived the prep and delivery fee and gave me a four year yes Warranty . I went in about three weeks before the show and they said come to the show and it would give me that deal it’s saved about two grand.

I would definitely wait for the boat show. They probably aren't going to budge on the price. But you can always negotiate other things. Coast Guard safety kit, cover, extra ropes, bumpers. Maybe extra warranty?? Trailer will be included. Also, if it were me I wouldn't pay for any scheduled services. If they throw in the initial 10 hour service I'd do that but don't pay for anything after that. These boats are super easy to work on. I've done every oil change on mine since i bought it. I do the oil and filters and spark plugs every spring along with lubing steering linkages and things like that. The owners manual will tell you what needs to be done. And there isn't really much to do for winterizing either besides blowing the water out by revving the engines a couple times. and, with scheduled maintenance any questions you have can definitely be answered on this forum.

Thanks for the replies! I went to the dealer today and they gave a quote on the 210 FSH Sport for 48k, which includes fees, console cover and upgraded trailer. They said if purchased before March 31, the warranty would be 3 years, or only 1 year after March 31.

Unfortunately, I found out the boat show is cancelled due to the zombie apocalypse! I'll check with another dealer, but I have a feeling that's the purchase price I'll find elsewhere.

Is that common for the warranty, or just dealer pressure to buy? Get a longer warranty in the off-season? I believe they said a 5 year warranty would be 3k.

Thanks again!

We received the same deal on the warranty. It's a current offer direct from Yamaha, and it's listed on their site. You either get lower apr, or 3 years of extended warranty. We ended up using a different loan company that matched the low apr 4.99% and got the 3 year warranty. The offer ends at the end of march. See Offers for more info.
