@Mainah put together a version of his push button start kit for my 2013 212x and I got around to installing it over the weekend. Honestly, there isn't much to talk about. The kit I received was excellent. It was well constructed and truly plug and play. I turned the batteries off, unplugged the factory twelve pin harness, and connected the new M & F twelve pin connectors into their respective spots. Turned the battery back on and tested. Perfect. I mounted the controller in the helm, to the fiberglass lip around the opening, with two stainless steel screws. As for placement of the buttons themselves, you can see that in the 2 pictures below. I've also marked a spot with a red X. This spot, where one of the factory warning stickers is, was my original target. However, the way the fiberglass is shaped below the surface, it doesn't allow any clearance for drilling the holes or assembling the buttons once the holes are drilled, SO DON'T DRILL THERE, unless you come up with some way to do it beforehand. I luckily figured it out before drilling. Removing the throttle assembly gets you access to finish up the installation. Visit these threads here for more info on the kits. https://jetboaters.net/threads/push-button-start-mod-it-works-with-video-and-full-instructions.9371 https://jetboaters.net/threads/plug-and-play-push-button-start-stop-kits.16788/#post-288928

War Eagle! Ha.. in all seriousness, the key chain is too big, it gets in the way of the cupholder, which is why its flipped up on the steering wheel like that. The mic is for bluetooth calls via the head unit. It was installed by the previous owner. It actually does work pretty well, even at speed since its behind the windshield. You do have to have your phone powered on however, which is usually my problem on the water. :)

Cool! I was wondering if it was for your phone and if it actually worked good enough with all the wind and such on our boats. Yes yes just teasing on the Auburn :D. I hate that this years boat registration label is orange and of course my boat letters are blue so.....yea wife ain't too happy of the colors together lol. Not too much longer and it's season ON! :winkingthumbsup"
