What do you put under the front mooring cover tent pole to avoid damaging the SeaDek?

I havent used my cover since i installed the seadek. Is this a threat? Its a closed cell foam and the pressure isnt too substantial is it?

I am not sure its a threat, but I do recall reading here somewhere that a sustained point pressure like a tent pole can "dent" SeaDek.

If your pole doesn't have a foot, you can pick up a rubber foot at your local hardware.

You could just get a couple cheap cutting boards and put the pole bases on them. That would distribute the weight a lot, if you're concerned about it.

This is what I ended up doing:
Raining today, hence the original question. Has seriously impeded my driveway boating plans. SeaDek install is about 75% done. Above is a bit of a preview on the full install, will post more pix when complete.
