Quick question about oil level)

One thing I should note, as I was discussing with my wife what we need to do she brought up a good point i didn't think about. After running all weekend on July 4 when I pulled the plug to drain the water there was no oil that drained out. When I pulled it today it was pretty much all oil and very little water. So now I'm guessing something happened yesterday while we were running. Either way its going in to be checked. Luckily i believe I still have warranty left. Once again thank you all for the quick replies on things to check. I knew I could log on and get some answers on possible solutions quickly.

When you pulled the filter, you checked both the filter side and the engine side, right?

That certainly sounds strange. Let us know what the shop says.

Got word from the shop today. Was just the seal on the oil filter. They replaced both oil filters, topped off the oil and cleaned things back up. They ran it and everything checks out. Glad it was something simple and that I caught this before anything really bad happened.
