I was cleaning the boat after being out on the water today and noticed where the water exits from the exhaust cooling, that a piece of silicone was coming out. After further investigation, it appears to be a piece from directly behind the black slit piece where the water comes out. Is this an issue? No water anywhere and no issues that I can see. Should I just reapply some silicone in that area?

No problem, and no need to fix anything. That is some leftover from the manufacturing process. Freaks everyone out when it comes out. But it is just overage from where they put some on and put two parts together. Completely harmless.

Thanks for the quick response. I thought it may be left over but wanted to double check.
