Mine is very hard to do. One pin takes full strength to turn and pull even with another person pushing it upwards to take the weight off it. Can i lube it with something? Maybe a little waterproof grease?
Who designed this thinking it was ok that you always needed two adults to raise and lower it?

It is designed to be raised and lowered by 2 people. It is hard to get the pin in and out of my starboard side because the tower (when up) rests a little on the pin and when raising it, doesn't fully line up with the hole unless the tower is pushed. Now that we know, it is no big deal.
