Hard as it is to believe people fall for these scams.
Some scammers will post positive reviews of “XYZ business” on various enthusiast forums for a year or two in advance of running the scam. Then they will use the business name on CL... People do an internet search and see all the great feedback and think they are dealing with a legit business.
