so, i just got handed a '94 jetboat.
motor is gone, trailer is in good condition, steering is locked up, cable seems ok, but i havent detached it yet i think the wheel is just buggered.
the radio is missing.
the bottom switch is missing.... none of the switches are labeled.
i think the throttle cable may be buggered as well, but i doubt i need it.
MAIN QUESTSIONS
1. what are the dimensions of the spline for the jet drive. it is sticking up, its about an inch across by eye. i have not yet counted the teeth,because its in an awkward spot...but i will unless its a known value.
2. what radio was there? are they available?
3. can i identify what motor used to be there? i have the HIN.
i plan on powering this with a home built electric 70kw motor. and lithium ions.... but i wonder if i spun it with a drill if i could see any water move.
she floats....someone left the hinges unbolted... the plywood is a mess. but otherwise it looks nice. when i floated her water seeped in from every threaded shaft and loose bolt...and a hole in the middle which i plugged with a 5/8in wet well plug... im HOPING that the water pump was on the motor and not in the jetdrive.... but if it comes from the jetdrive does anyone have a schematic or manual i could use to disable the coolant pump???
any tips? any advice?
