Removable Anchor Hatch

Removing the hatch gives much better access to the anchor locker.

I added straight pins to replace the hinges. They are about 3" long. Drilled into the hatch.

For support strength, I cut the hinge portion off of the hinges, kept them in place with a pin hole drilled through them. I kept the hatch portion of the hinge in place as well.

It works fairly well, but those that aren't use to it lift straight up before realizing they need to slide the pins out as they lift.

I think it's fairly secure, but I really don't know. I haven't been in anything ruff.
