Another thing from yesterday -
As I was putting the snap-on cover back on the boat, I noticed that on the bow cover, right were the snaps invert and attach to the bottom of the middle windshield section, there was a tear in the fabric on the port side, right where the main part of the cover meets the edging. The Admiral and I were discussing repair options, and given the backlog of everything else boat-related, I'm disinclined to reach out to a canvas shop knowing that it may be weeks before we see the cover again.
Has anyone undertaken their own repair efforts? Any advise before attempting this on our own?
