All,

I'm looking to replace the bimini on my 2008 AR230, but debating whether to go with the current "attached to tower" model, or something like this: http://biminitops.iboats.com/BiminiTops79-84Width/BiminiTops36-42Height/?cart_id=011374911

I've done the measurements for the Height/Length/Width and would be comfortable with anything in the 36-42" height (Definitely 6 foot length). Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions at all? I'm a little hesitant to get something that doesn't attach to the tower, but am also open to trying something different. I know if I get the linked Bimini I'd have to install 2 new strap loops to the hull which isn't a big deal.

Any advice?
