Silly question, do u normally replace the solenoid as well when replacing the starter???

On the 1.8s the solenoid is part of the electric box on the back of the engine bay it’s not part of the starter. So normally don’t touch it….

This is from my service manual (2012 SX/AR). Not sure if this can be of any assistance.
