Reporting on new additions to the boat: Thrust Vectors, VeeVee's, Grill

I understand but that's what the rub rail is for ;). The hull should not be in contact with the guides in normal conditions. The PVC slides easily against my rub rail and hasn't left any marks. Adding cushions certainly would remove any possibility but in theory as long as your guides are taller than the rub rail that protrudes further than the hull you shouldn't have any damage.
