I think that is a Generic code - O2 sensor slow response - lean to rich, Bank 1 Sensor 1

Thank you. I had my mechanic clean both O2 sensors. I called the dealer and they told me the engine light should go off after 40 starts and stops. Seems weird. I also cut the power off but the light went back on

Never heard of that before, that does sound weird. Normally I reset the code, check the connection and if it does it again replace the sensor.

Here are some notes I have been collecting over time (fault codes). Also, @ScarabMike created a repository for owners under Forums/Model Specific Discussions/Scarab Jet Boats/Scarab Jet Boat Information Repository. Hope this helps...

I do not have direct experience with the scarab engines, but I can tell you that cleaning oxygen sensors does not really do anything. As Alan Mann suggested, it's best practice to check the connection, clear the code and see what happens. If the issue persists, change the sensor. All oxygen sensors are not created equal. I suggest you go with OEM replacements.

To end my saga I called Scarab and that told me they have nothing to do with the engine. They gave me BRP's phone number 1 844 345 4277. They told me to clear the code it has to be hooked up to their diagnostic software so looks like the boat has to go to the dealer. Amazing

I'm kinda sure you can bring it to any BRP dealer if distance is an issue with the Scarab dealer.

What was the final outcome on your issue with your o2 sensor.

Scarab replaced the O2 sensor. I believe what happened was i sucked up a twig and had to idle the boat back for a couple of miles. That will clog the sensor due to the idling. All is working well now
