Needing help locating the fuse/relay/power source for the baitwell on a Scarab 195 Oped ID center console. Baitwell pump is working intermittently and doesn’t seem to be getting power anymore. Even the little red light on the accessory switch isn’t lighting up when the switch is on. Thanks in advance.

There is fuse box by battery and there is another under helm behind the vinyl cover

I’ve look at both and doesn’t seem to be a fuse for the Baitwell. Going to pull the panels in the helm and trace wires to the switch and back to see if I can figure it out.

Check power at the switch maybe you have a bad switch

I posted a similar situation in another thread. DO trace wires, but carefully, and with precision and patience. Wire colors on boats are not the same as home/auto/ So my Chaparral, and possibly most others uses Yellow for ground, and red for (+) off the battery, my accessory switch (+) color is blue. I had an instance late 2018, half my instrument and accessory switch illumination was out. It was my first night trip. Everything was working before, as I've had the key in the on position while in the garage in the past. I also stumbled on wiring schematics on the Chaparral site under the owners manual section. I saved all of those PDF's for all years that I found them, I think they have been removed now. But check your manual, check the Scarab site Ect. You may stumble on some valuable information like I did. I remember the dealer telling me when I bought the boat that there were no schematics when I asked for some at purchase. What I found while rooting around my instrument cluster wiring was an over crimped connector, it had sliced through the casing and wire completely. Since I had been under there working on the Viper unit, and other things in the past, that was enough to finish the fracture off. The fix was to remove the spade from the connector, open the tail end of the spade and solder it back.
