The rotax motor doesn't create alot of electrical power, so I would recommend an onboard charger. My setup is a group 24 and a group 27, boat had them when I bought it, I added a dualbank charger. I connected the amp directly to the 27, and usually run the selector switch set to it, and save the 24 for starting if needed. I'll replace the 27 with a 31 when needed, or a pair of 31's. My system is just the stock head unit, with a JL MX500/4 and and 4 JL MX7.7 speakers. If your going bigger I'd go with a pair of group 31's. Theres a few threads in the electronics section with some serious installs.
