Scarab 215 Reverse Module Error U0410

I finally got the time this weekend to get the boat ready to go for the summer. I just put a new battery in it and made sure it was charged fully. When I place the key in the ignition in the on position I get a Reverse Module Error and a fault code of U0410. I see the gates are in neutral, but the display shows forward and does not change with a change in position of the shifter from neutral, forward, or reverse. Lanyard is on the kill switch and the post is seated as far as it will go. When I pull the cord and replace it I can hear the relays(?) clicking in the engine compartment. Any ideas before I load this thing up and haul it to the shop and break out another thousand? Thanks for the help y’all.

re-seat safety lanyard a couple times to see if that helps

Same thing happened to me 6 weeks ago, beginning of summer. Exact error and shows in F although shifter in neutral. Changed out relays, battery fully charged, lanyard reset multiple times. It’s in the shop now to be looked at (they were behind 6 weeks). Will let you know when I hear from them this fall

Just got a call from dealer. IBR module is bad. Can’t do anything till next week. Summer boating- non existent
