Schematic or other reference for top edge of hull reinforcement to mount tower on SX230

Hi All, just bought an '04 SX230 and new to the forums here...I ordered a 'Reborn' brand fwd-facing tower, and am looking for any dimensioned schematics (or even a hand sketch) showing where the hull/side is reinforced per Yamaha factory, if any, for mount points of a tower? If I knock/tap along the top edge of the hull where it'd mount, it sounds like there's a thicker backing from the rear edge of the windshield & forward, but not aft past that.

I tried a quick search of this subforum for keywords along those lines, but no dice.

Any input's appreciated before I start drilling, heh.

Without crawling in the boat I think that there is 3/4” plywood embedded in the fiberglass at the mounting points. IIRC the front & rear plywood is roughly 6x9”. Just make sure to use an aluminum or stainless backer plate to help distribute the load over the plywood.

Hi BF, so as far as mounting points with plywood embedded, do you suppose that's from rear edge of windshield's side panels, forward? But none behind that point going toward the boat's rear?

I've got some aluminum plates, now just need to figure out how to remove interior panels to access the backside of the fiberglass...

It’ll be tomorrow afternoon before I can get pics but yes, the front is in front of windshield going forward.
