Hey guys I'm working on my buddy's 08 sx230 and was looking at the scupper vaules and it's some weird one with a butterfly nut on it and when I checking inside the previous owner just cut the hose lose from the fitting what kind is it and what is the best kind to use

what kind of hose or what kind of scupper?
I think any kind of similar hose would be ok, it's not under any pressure,
the scupper, use the atwood brand

Here you go guys I think he unhooked it and is just letting it drain n the bottom of the boat because when I put the hose in the holeinside the cabin the water comes out the main drain out back

A Scupper it is not.

That appears to be a plug.

The "main drain" meaning the transom plug ?

Did you pull the cleanout plug cover yet? That will tell you what is going on.

did your friend install those LED's or did the previous owner?

somebody has been back in their before, maybe they did break the plastic fitting and just decided to block it off??

The previous owner installed them and I'm going to pull the clean out tray when I get back from the doctor I was thinking maybe that's what happened and they just decided to block it off and let it drain threw the transom drain

They most likely broke the oem scupper and blocked it off with that expansion plug. Now the deck drain will drain into the bilge forcing the bilge pump to evacuate the water. Replacing the scupper valve with an Attwood stainless steel unit would be best.

That was what I was thinking didn't get a chance to work on it yesterday afternoon good ng to try and do it today between the rain
