Got my group buy on seadek. Installed the swim platform this week. Here in Georgia it was 65 the past 2 days. But got these 2 extra pieces that I don't know where they go. Any help?

I believe just above the top of the swim seats both sides for a step. Someone should confirm though.

That looks like they go on the other side of the cupholders. If you look online at your boat on jetboatpilot it'll show where those pieces go.

I checked there. There’s no number 7 and 8 on there

I had the same issue when my swim deck kit arrived. i was dry fitting them and I finally found a place where I think they fit. It was a couple months ago and I didn’t install them, but I think that they go on they vertical face between the two levels and all the way at the ends. I’m going from memory and my boat is wrapped for the winter so I can’t go out and check again.

Do yourself a favor and buy the engine step over kit. It is only two little pieces of SeaDek, but it made a huge difference the last couple of outings.

Thanks. I have the full kit just hadn’t installed it all yet. Need another warm day here in Georgia. Thanks I’ll look tomorrow

That was the only place that I could find that made sense. I’m looking forward to hearing @JetBoatPilot confirm/correct the location.

Those pieces came with my FSH 210 swim platform kit. My daughter finally figured out how they fit! I decided to leave them off for now. Are these pieces intended to mitigate the "light amplification" that is on their product page now? My boat is stored indoors or under cover on a trailer. I'm thinking I have minimal risk of light damage.

Looks great. I am buying a 2015 AR210 this weekend and looking to get the entire Seadek package. What color is yours (they have two grays, one slightly darker than the other) and I assume the 2" plank. Are you happy with the final results? Any problem putting them on? Thanks.

Storm gray over black is the color. The hardest part was removal of the old black hydroturf. 3m eraser wheel for the win.
Haven't installed the cockpit pads yet. Hasn't been warm enough in Georgia yet.

No hydro turf or any pads on this one. Previous owner removed when buffing out boat. Are you going to remove snaps inside before putting in pads? 88 tii ok day through the weekend in FL ?

Yes I removed all of the snaps already and filled them in with some white 5200.

You're lucky! We just had two beautiful days in a row up here, but not enough time to do all other things I had planned for those nice days. Now its 50 and raining.....come on SPRING!!!!

I just got my Seadek in the mail. Holy cow! There are a lot of pieces when you get all three package options. So as a follow up, how did the install go? Anything I need to look out for or best practices besides the videos they put out? I had heard some people were using a small bead of silicone around the edges and others super glue just to be safe. Did you just do the "peel and stick?" Thanks!

Actually going to do the cabin install Sunday. The swim deck was surprisingly easy I think. Only issue I had was lining up the pieces that surround the cup holders. I don't think the cup holders are I'm the exact same spot so with a critical eye, I can see the slight difference when looking at how the mat lays along the outer edge on each side.

Yes peel and stick. Once it's lined up, just fold half of the pad back and stick it. It's pretty important to cut the backing before you position the pad in place.

Good luck!

Let me know how it goes - I’ll be doing mine next weekend. Let me know if you just peel and stick or add any other adhesive. Thanks

I only had to install 2 pieces for the step over pads, but I did it like in the videos with tape and peeled half at a time. Worked just fine and haven't had any lifting on the corners. I cleaned the areas and then wiped down the surfaces with alcohol to make sure they were perfectly clean. I then made sure to work my way from the center out and went around the entire area three times to ensure it was well pressed down.

Installed today. The tricky part is cutting the backing without accidentally cutting the pad. But not bad. Once you get started, only took about an hour. Under the bench was hard. Was too lazy to remove the bench.

No extra adhesive used. The pads are very sticky. Love the way it looks

Looks awesome! I can’t wait to do mine. Good advice to cut backing before taping down the one side.
