My support poles have eaten through the cap on the bottom and have fallen off. What are you guys using on the bottom of the support poles to keep it from cutting the seadek

I've heard that some use a folded microfiber cloth under their anti pooling poles. I'm going to try that once I get mine in the lake for the summer.

Hoping someone has found a random part of something else that fits the bill, something that can attach to the bottom of the pole

How about a tennis ball with a hole cut into it? That should grip the floor as well. It would be like your cover had a walker!!

Good luck.

Use something larger like a plate. This way the weight is distributed and the seadek does not have an indentation in it when you take the poles out. We use large plastic discs cut from starboard.

I just went out to the shop and I think we can make a couple of discs from black starboard. I think they'd sell for $15-$20 per pair. They will have a little recess in the center for the leg to sit in and will do a great job of preventing the seadek pads from being indented. Thoughts?

I have some 6in x 6in pieces of plexiglass under mine. They were leftover from a project I had.

I used a folded up beach towel when we had our SX-230. If you sold this product at that price back then, I would have purchased.

I use a 3" plastic door stop disc. The kind that sticks to the wall. I also replaced the rubber feet on the poles. You can pick those up at any decent hardware store.
