We bought our LX210 early summer 2012. I started adding Seafoam to ethanol free gas soon after we bought her. Initially we had to crank the engines for four or more eight counts to get her started and occasionally after sitting at a sandbar an engine would stall on initial full throttle acceleration. During the summer I noticed the engines started easier and the stalling disappeared as the Seafoam worked its magic. I bought a 12 pack and started adding a can for every 10 gallons we used. I probably ran 14 or more cans through the engines last year.
We have taken her out twice this year. After sitting for the winter she starts easier (faster) than ever before and the engines feel better than last year. Yesterday we hit a GPS speed of 49.6 MPH with five people, a full tank of gas and a lot of toys on board. If we had smoother water we could have gone faster. I had planned to clean the carbs over the winter. I am glad I did not invest the time and expense to do so as the Seafoam seems to have taken care of the job.
My theory is that the Seafoam cleaned out ethanol residue from fuel that previous owners used.
