How much propane do you go through in a season trying to keep that puppy warm?
We actually installed a inwall electric heater. It’s about 8x12” and have the cord run out the same hole as the main power in. Also have another one I put in towards the front that wires in the main board, it’ll trip if you have the AC and the heater on at the same time. But no more propane for heat! Could work out better!

Kind if depends. Some places I ski have hookups(electric no sewer). If I'm in the grid I rock one of the old filled radiator style heater under the table and usually just need the furnace for cold nights. I have the larger 7.5 bottles. When plugged in I've gone 7 days no problem.

If I'm off grid and running the generator I've made it 6 days before running out of propane. Probably could have made it longer if I was more diligent about turning the furnace off while skiing during the day.

It's also NOT a 4 season/arctic package and doesnt have a skin on the bottom so it's not the most efficient for winter camping but it does the job.

Reviving this thread...

Just got this ‘07 Jayco Eagle 345BHS last week. We’ve been cleaning, tweaking, updating all week and have a little ways to go. Trying to just make the inside a little more current. It seems in pretty good shape, and felt like we got a good deal. Going in to the dealer next week to have him give a once over to all the major systems and see where we are.

Have our first outing already scheduled for Labor Day weekend. Bunk house in the back is going to be great for the kids. They’ve already slept in it in the driveway (and talked mom into joining).

Thanks @RiverRat its going to be great for our first. We’ve been borrowing my grandparents for a couple trips a year over the last 2 years. It has worked well, but the floor plan is designed for a retired couple and not a family of 5. We end up with one kid sleeping on the floor and trying not to step on everybody climbing in the door, if we stay up later than the kids.

Got it for 12k, and feel real good about it. I think between furniture upgrades, cleaning and decor work (stripping wall paper, painting, curtains), fresh stocking of all the necessities and the “necessary” work to my truck (Spray bed liner, 5th wheel hitch, new tires and maybe wheels while I’m at it), I think I’ll be damn close to 20k all in.

Here’s a few pics from the inside.

My dads neighbor has had this camper in his yard for months and I hardly glanced at it. About 2 weeks ago I drove by and slowed down enough to take a pic of the model number. Looked it up at home, toured it the next day, and the day after that he delivered it to my driveway. Lol. Happened way too fast!

My wife loves camping and did it while she was growing up. While I boated as a youngster. We picked up a Coleman pop-up camper a few years ago. Has 2 king size beds and could be pulled by a van or suv. Kids love it and would even sleep in the driveway if it was available to them. Once you get that AC you'll never camp in a tent again in the summer. Sweet Bliss!
Never thought we would have a boat at the same time. Needing places to park my daily drivers!

Jayco makes great trailers. Once you get your upgrades/updates done you'll have a real gem. Post some pics when you're done.
