I am heading to Miami (flying) next weekend. Is there any practical way for someone to rent an un-captained boat for a small excursion? I am only in town for a long weekend. I have no captain certifications. I'm just wondering if there is any practical solution for someone to rent a small boat to hang out on sandbars for a half day or a day, or is this just too challenging for someone with no ocean experience to expect to be able to do.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I can send you contact info on a private jet ski rental that isnt on offer up.

Check out GetMyBoat or Boatsetter. If born after 1987 you will need some sort of boating safety course certificate.

I pass a few places in the Keys all the time. Not sure what they charge. One I know is near the Islamorada sand bar.
