Changed my battery out this weekend. After changing turned on some music. The bow, towe and deck speakers don't work. The back swim dick sp akers turn on and off every 10 seconds or so. The connect screen is in. Speaker balance is set to be equal to front and back. Any ideas on how to fix?

Do you have an amp? Check fuses at the amp(s) and breakers in the boat. Also double check you hooked up all the cables at the batteries when you swapped them.

Well I redid the fuses on the amp. again Back speaker is now playing consistently without turning on and off. However when putting in the fuse for the front speakers and tower the metal prongs to receive the fused got pushed back into the amp. Any solutions or do I need a new amp?

Oops.

In that situation, I usually break out a screwdriver and crack open the amp. Likely you bent the socket back against the board. If you are careful, you may be able to bend it back without snapping it off.

The way I see it, right now the amp does not work and you will need a new one. If you open it and break it, it will not work and you will need a new one. So really, you have nothing to lose. Up side is that you may fix it (and get back to your original problem).

@4michael the amps on our boats have a direct feed from the batteries. Since the battery change started the issue, I would double check the connections at the battery to ensure you’ve got solid voltage. Any dip in voltage will trip the amp into protection or reset mode.
