Good day all.
First post.
I've owned multiple seadoo's over the years, bit of a buying and selling issue i guess.
I currently have a 155hp speedster and am looking at going up a size for more onboard space as well as a a windshield to try and extend my boating season.
I have a wake pro 215 as well and the fuel burn difference between the two is quite noticable, as such im contemplating the 150hp option of the 187. My fear however is that the added size of the boat might not make the 150 the most fuel efficient option in this boat. Can anyone weigh in on this?

I read the horror stories thread on the 2014, is that issue cleared up on the later build years?

Thanks in advance
Cheers
Mark

I have a 2014 with zero issues, pretty sure it didn't effect every boat in that year. Every brand has a few lemons. As for the engine, I don't know that I would do anything but the supercharged 250. I definitely wouldn't want any less than so have now (250), but it depends on what you are going to use it for...

I have the GT187 (150HP engine, the GTS187 is the 250)

Fuel use isn't too bad. Flat out, the tank will last almost 2 hours.

Speed-wise, I've had the boat up to about 42-44 km/h on a flat/smooth lake, with just me in the boat.

It DOES however bog down a bit when towing the kids on a tube. 1 person on the tube is great, 2 is good, 3 on the tube bogs down and it's tough to get it over 25 km/h.

Hope that helps.
