The underside foam covering is starting to fall apart and make a mess. Can it just be scrapped off and leave it like that or should something be put back on there?

Thanks, I will take a look. I'm not sure on the sound level between new and now as this boat is new to me.

Going back several years, my uncle had a 1996 SeaDoo Sportster, that was a fun and great little boat. You will enjoy yours.
