Spring Cleaning - Wax on, wax off!

Since I am a rookie at this, can someone help clarify for me the differences, benefits, and uses of polish vs. wax? Polish first then wax? Is polish necessary on a newer boat?

Good video. Looks like I'll be going with Meguiar's from now on.

How do you wax the spots against the bunks? It bothers me ...

LOL Fan of the bikini wax too? We all know there is something under there. On my old boat I notched a 6x6 to match the keel and used it with a floor jack to lift the hull off the bunks. I also borrowed a bunch of engine hoists and used tow straps as slings to suspend it off the trailer. Nope... I wasn't actually waxing under the bunks. I was painting the hull.

Yeah, far further than I will ever go! Mad props (get it, props, cuz it's a boat)(I couldn't figure out how to work in "impeller"). There is little better than a good bikini wax, as long as it's not on me, and I am not the one doing it. Lol!

Thanks for posting this. I usually just use the Boat Bling Quickie wax, but was thinking of putting a more traditional coat of wax on this spring.

I bought the Meguiar's Marine Wax last night at Bass Pro Shop. Gonna give it a personal test.
