For months the Chaparral website has been stating that the 223's were "coming in June" and the 243's were coming in July. The website still states that even though those months have come and gone. Anyone have any idea when either of these models are actually coming out?

Haven't heard a word. Time to call the manufacturer or dealer?

Called the dealer near me and the 223 are due in a couple weeks but the 243 will be September. They have plenty of the 203's in stock.

They should not let their web information lag so much from reality. Takes about 10 min to update the preview dates to reality. Makes people think there are problems with the line. And who knows maybe the twin engine models are having problems.

I am not in the market, but curious. Like everyone else, also anxious to see what the next gen of Yamaha's look like in a couple of weeks (at least the 24'). Only time is going to tell what impact the other jetboats have on Yamaha and the market.

Boat manufacturers should take cues from phone manufacturers. Apple and Samsung give huge affairs to their product announcement and launch.

Heck, BRP just did a decent launch party for their new evinrudes.

Looking forward to their offerings too.
