Are the ends of the cable different from what has been used on these boats since day 1? If the same, can’t imagine the Teleflex we have used over the years will not work even if a foot or two “long”.

I don’t know what the cables from any other boat look like. This pic is the 190 fsh steering cable. One end is a rack housing (cable cannot be disconnected) the other end is a threaded push rod.
