Steering wheel and radio

HI,

I'm Canadian and lived in Boynton Beach Florida and I already 84h on my 2014 Scarab 195. I'm new on this forum. I have two questions.

1. Do you had problems with your Sony radio? The dealer replace mine twice and I feel that the next time will be soon. The radio stuck on a demo mode, or just stop working! Here in South Florida the weather is very hot and under the cover I can't imagine the radio temperature!

2. After the last yearly dealer maintenance, my steering wheel is so hard to turn! I don't want to bring back to boat just for that so do you have an idea how I can fix by my self? Grease? Loose a nut?

Welcome aboard !! Sounds like the dealer is just telling you that they replaced the head unit! I'd put a mark on it somewhere and see if they really swap it out if you go back.

Is your wheel hard to turn out of the water?

The wheel is hard to turn in and out of the water. The technician just told me that they have to replace the cable. I'll see.
