Purchased a new AR195 and will not take delivery until Spring 2025. I have been researching quite a bit on upgrading the stereo but still have questions.
Some say that that Factory 6.5"s are a good speaker, just need to upgrade the head unit - so thinking of going with Fusion MS-RA670 Radio if this is true and not adding an amp to them.

Also looking to purchase the SKAR RP-1500.1DM amp - and use this to power 2 8" Wakeboard Tower Speakers?

Would this all work well together or do i need to go a different route?

Not sure about the 2024. I had a 2022 195, Wet sound speakers, fusion head unit. I Added an amp and the system, really sounded great. I then went back and added a third set of speakers next to each of the seats, then it sounded really great even at WOT. I would try an amp first.

That Fusion HU was stock on our 21 195S. If you want to hear the music while running add mid-cabin speakers and an amp. I would recommend tower speakers also.
Yamaha has been moving away from Wet Sounds and going with Hetz audio.

Could I use 1 amp to run the boat speakers and the wakeboard tower speakers?

It all depends on how many watts and channels the amplifier has. I was running 6 speakers. 2 Bow, 2 aft, and the 2 I added midship. I ran the JL audio M600/6. Which is 6 channel and 75 watts per channel.
