Started my stereo upgrade this weekend got the wires ran for the amp. And for the remote got the remote mounted and installed four new kicker 6.5 in the factory locations. I have 4 more 6.5 that I was trying to decide where to put as well . Still have to put in New radio and wire every thing up but got a good start . Also put some acoustic blok that the previous owner had bought and gave me . On the fuel tank cover and the clean out plug hatch .

What did you cut the wholes with? I have 4 additional stock 6.5's to had to my 19', as well as tower speakers.

I bought a 5 inch hole saw from harbor freight worked great thought I was going to have to trim it a little but they fit perfect

How did the acoustiblok work? Did you use the caulking/ adhesive to attach it? I have a roll in my garage and was thinking about using it.

My kickers started blowing after three years and I couldn’t figure out why. Then i found my daughter and her friends pressing down the speakers with their hands trying to get them to stop vibrating. Luckily they were still under warranty

It worked pretty good and use the adhesive that came with it and then the tape
Have a little bit left mite put it in the engine compartment later
