Picking up a new 242SE soon. I have a few questions on storage ideas.

1- is the storage behind the stern seating dry? I'm thinking about keeping all the towels in one side folded for an easy grab.

2- has anyone found a nicer looking garbage can that looks classy for the cargo net area on the port side? Ideally black and not too high or bulky.

3- instead of a garbage can has anyone found an odd shaped cooler for ice that looks good in the cargo net area?

Any other unique storage ideas and pictures welcome! In my 2012 I had a nice wire shelf in the head compartment with a garbage can to the right of the door and smaller wire hanging baskets (instead of the shoe holder idea) on the left wall. I'm not sure how I'm going to set the new head up yet.

I thought the top bar on the door was meant for paper towel. But I noticed yesterday the bar isn't removable and meant for a hand towel to be hung. Has anyone cut this out and put a paper towel removable bar there? In my 2012 I have a paper towel holder installed there.

A kingsford charcoal can fits well behind the cargo net, takes 1 regular kitchen size bags, and has a lid that opens to throw trash in.
