The last couple of weekends I went out with the boat I would run it everything‘s fine I would load it up on the trailer bring it home and then there will be kind of like a grease or possible oil that kind of leak in the rear of the starboard motor. I’ve checked everything air filter, plugs and oil level, cold and hot. No oil is missing. It does have kind of a thicker grease feel to it. I took it out this weekend brought it home and it didn’t leak this time. I am really confused. Has anybody ever ran into this or What it could possibly be , it is dripping back at the rear of the starboard motor but this last weekend it did not do it no leak or drips. Thank you

Could be drive bearing grease from 1) either the fill tube popped off the lower zert fitting or 2) the bearing is over filled and leaking.

My 2021 212 does the same. Same engine. Can’t find the source. Yours looks like engine oil. Even a small bit of oil goes a very very long way.

And to be clear, you've double checked that there's no residual oil coming off from of a half-ass oil change? Taking off the filters is a mess - I use a bag around the filters and rags in the bilge and I still end up cleaning oil out.

Same here...the port engine has less room to get a pad in to catch oil so I always have paper towels on the boat the next day to clean up a bit as the heat from the engines lets the oil residue drip into the bottom of the engine bay.

@DStar74 The only other thing I can think of is a loose bolt at the back where some oil is seeping through? Hard to tell from the pics.

Were you ever able to figure this out? My 2021 is doing the same thing. Same engine.
