2007 yamaha sx230 ho. Strange noise, vibrations from starboard engine. 3000 to 4000 rpm is fine. But when it goes to 6000 rpm the whole boat shakes, strange noise, and the boat does not go faster. When I got home and flushed the engine it was fine. It went to 8000 rpm, no noise, no vibrations. What can it be? Engine? Shaft??? Thanks

2 videos. One boating, the other one when I flushed the engine.

Check your starboard impeller through your clean outs or underneath on the trailer. I’m guessing you sucked something up which causes vibration and loss of power.

Yeah, I agree, sounds like you sucked something up into the impellers.

I did not see anything blocking the impeller from the clean out ports. I went under the trailer and foud a pice of wood stock on impeller. Thank you all. 20260616_172748.jpg
