Suggestions for a keel guard

I have an Ar210 and have a question on the length and placement of the keel guard. I apologize if this has been discussed and I missed it in the thread. I usually walk my boat in at the sand cove and basically beach the boat. It would be awesome to start under the anchor locker drain and run a keel guard to the stern of the boat ( to the drain plug). That said has anyone installed a full length one and if so was the pronounced keel an issue as they neared the stern?

It won't protect the sides of your hull, just the 4" in the middle.
Plus, since you have a 2017 don't you have the articulating keel with the fin like setup down the keel of the boat? I don't know how that installs all the way down with that. Where does that keel "fin" start and stop under there? Or was that just on the 240 series boats for 2017? I don't recall.

I went with the megaware because it comes with a lifetime replacement warranty and I have used the warranty.

Which brand is this you installed? I was wondering how the reds would match.

I think it was gator guard here is a pic from tonight I pulled the boat from the slip to clean it a little bit. I think the match is good.

I have had KeelShield (gator guard?) on my last two boats and am very satisfied. I had to replace it in my 190 after hitting a concrete ramp and they sent me a replacement no questions asked, very good customer service. I send them a picture and their responce was: this is absolutely covered under warranty.

I would go long, somewhere in the 9-12' range I think.

My Keel Shield split so now I have a Keel Guard. I think the color is nicer on the Keel Shield (shinier) but the Guard definitely seems thicker and stronger.
